News-Herald, Public Hearing NOTICE is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Willoughby Hills will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday. January 2„ 2014 at 7;Q0 p.tn. in the Council Chambers of the City of Willoughby Hills. 35405 Chardon Road to review the Proposed Use of32500 Chardon Rd, Willoughby, Ohio as a Public School. The property was previously occupied by Eaton Corporation as a training facility and corporate offices. The property is currently zoned in the Research and Office District of the Willoughby Hills Zoning Code. It is the intent of the Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools to purchase the former Eaton Corporation Training Center located at 32500 Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills, Ohio. The intended use of the property is for the purpose of establishing a school. The school district is requesting that approval as Similar Use be granted from the Planning Commission. As stated in Chapter 1115.10 of the Zoning Code, a proposed use may be permitted as a similar use when the Planning and Zoning Commission determines that such proposed use is in compliance. Application for Similar Use Certificate shall include all uses proposed for the development, their location, extent and characteristics. It is the intention of the Willoughby-Eastlake School Board to use the land and structures in their present state. Said Similar Use application is available for public examination in the PC/ABR Book outside Council Chambers at Willoughby Hills City Hall. Persons affected by this may appear at said hearing and speak for or against the proposal either in person or by an attorney.
