The South Russell Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. It will consider variances from William Joyce of the Joyce Building Co., regarding a house he intends to build at 105 Hazelwood Drive. The minimum required side yard setback is 10 feet on each side. The application indicates left side yard (west) of 4.25 feet & would need a variance of 5.75 feet to proceed. A rear yard setback of 30 feet is required. The application indicates a rear yard setback of 9.57 feet. A variance of 20.43 feet is needed to proceed. This hearing will be held at Village Hall, 5205 Chillicothe Road, South RusselL Please note, the zoning board can only consider sworn testimony in making its decisions.
