News-Herald, PUBLIC NOTICE • NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR VARIANCE BEFORE THE MENTOR MUNICIPAL BOARD OF BUILDING AND ZONING APPEALS JUNE 9, 2015 • MENTOR COUNCIL CHAMBERS – 7:00 PM 8500 CIVIC CENTER BLVD., MENTOR, OHIO • David G. Hayward for 8299 Fairfax Drive, PP16-C-084-E-00-001-0 requesting a variance to Sec. 1165.01 Accessory Buildings (a)(2) and Sec. 1165.01 (b)(3) of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow 18’ x 20’ (360 square foot) storage building to be constructed at a 5-foot rear setback in lieu of accessory buildings in excess of 125 square feet shall be setback 10-feet from the rear property line and the maximum floor area for accessory buildings for the storage of personal property, other than motor vehicles, shall not exceed 250 square feet in the R-1 Single Family Residential District. • Edward H. Heisley Road, PP16-D-115-A-00-002-0 requesting a variance to Sec. 1165.01 Accessory Buildings (a)(2) and Sec. 1165.01 Accessory Buildings (b)(1) of the Mentor Code of Ordinances to allow a 22’ x 24’ (528 square foot) detached garage to be constructed at a 6’-10” side setback and a building height of 19-feet in lieu of accessory buildings in excess of 125 square feet shall be setback a minimum of 10-feet from the side property line and the maximum building height for accessory buildings shall be 15-feet measured from the finished grade to the roof line in the R-4 Single Family Residential District. 624039/May 28, 2015
