News-Herald, LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by The Board of LeroyTownship Trustees at their offices in LeroyTownship Hall, 6684 Paine Rd., LeroyTownship, Ohio 44077 up to the hour of 8:00 p.m. local time on Monday, February 2, 2015, and read publicly immediately thereafter for the following: Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Bidding Document, including specifications, are on file and may be obtained after January 12, 2015, at the Leroy Township Fire Department, 13028 Leroy Center Road, Leroy Township, Ohio, 44077, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. At the request of the bidder to the Leroy Township Fire Chief, Frank Huffman, Bidding Documents will be mailed. The Fire Chief may be reached at 440-254-4124. There is no charge for Bidding Documents. Each bid shall include the full and correct name and corporate status of the bidder and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of an original bid bond signed by a satisfactory corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Ohio in favor of the Board of Leroy Township Trustees or by a certified check, cashier’s check, or money order, drawn on a solvent bank or savings and loan association in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount made payable to the Board of Leroy Township Board of Trustees, conditional that bidder shall, if bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity to the Bid Documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked on the outside with the bidder’s name and address and: “Leroy Township Proposal for S.C.B.A”. Bids may be delivered by hand to the Board of Trustees for Leroy Township at their offices in Leroy Township Hall, 6684 Paine Road, Leroy Township, Ohio, 44077 only between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015. Bids may be mailed to the office of the Leroy Township Fiscal Officer, Sharon E. Rodgers, at 5920 Paine Rd., Painesville, Ohio 44077. All bids, whether delivered or mailed must be received on or before 8 p.m. local time on Monday, February 2, 2015. No bidder shall be considered the lowest and best bidder or eligible to be awarded the contract to which this Notice or Bid Specifications apply, if the bidder is listed on the Auditor of State’s Database as having a “Finding of Recovery” as that term is defined in R.C. 9.24. No bidder shall be considered the lowest and best bidder or eligible to be awarded the contract to which this Notice or Bid Specifications apply unless the bidder has completed a certification that the bidder is in compliance with R.C. 3517,13. A copy of the certification is included with the instructions to bidders and must be submitted with the bid. The Board of Leroy Township Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive technicalities in any bids and to award the contract to the lowest and best bidder.
